Should This Book Really Be Banned?
Huxley's novel was deemed by Ireland to be, "anti-religion, anti-family, and extremely blasphemous". Although these arguments were made I do not not agree with the decision to be ban this book. The novel was not written to promote the actions presented within the pages. In fact the scenarios in the book serve as somewhat of a warning sign to the what the future may hold. The dystopian setting is strictly a glimpse into the darkness of society and human ideals. This book potrays a world in which you would not want to live and rather discourages the acts of characters with in the novel rather than idolize them.
