Interveiw With Dalton May
The following is an interview conducted with, Dalton Jeffery May, who has been accepted into the prestigious Eastern Tennessee State University with a focus in Mass Communications. May considers himself an adept reader and somewhat of an expert in the world of banned books, here is what he has to say.
Me:" Dalton what are your thoughts on banned books in general?"
May:" I do not think they should exist."
Me:"And why is that dalton?"
May:"I believe it should be based on your opinion and not the government's."
Me:"Will there ever be a circumstance in which the government should ban a book?"
May:"They should not have the power to declare what citizens should or should not read."
Me:"Have you ever read a banned book."
May:"Yes, The Hunger Games."
Me:"Did you at anytime feel uncomfortable reading that book?"
May:"Absolutely not."
Me:"Thankyou sir, that concludes our interview."
