The Brave New World is a book by Aldous Huxley, written in 1931. This novel predicts a very advanced and somewhat sinister future of our world. This dystopian novel displays advances in reproductive technology, "sleep learning", and the widely accepted use of drugs to cope with the remains of society. This prestigious novel was ranked among the top 100 novels of all time, but was however banned in Ireland in 1932, the same year as its original publication.
